Original Poetry
Here is a small sampling of my poems. Like my art, I make no excuses or apologies for what I create - it is what it is - and I write because I must. The poems on this page, and others, will be available in chapbook form by Summer 2009. Copies of the chapbook will be available for sale at that time. Until then, please read my work with an open mind/heart. Comments are - as always - sincerely welcomed.
Namaste, Liz
Scarlet Letter
angels from grace
cast lots at my feet
coveting the warm
fabric of his words
confessions in blue
Judas kiss the pages
pierce the flesh
and nail me, arms open
to wooden desire
passion’s body removed
from the tomb, bright
yellow tape torn
asunder
Caution: Thou shalt not ...
Woman a la Mode
Her mountain stance on
vaulting column legs, capped
by pliable velvet thighs,
invite you to explore
the depths of their dense
jungle summit, it’s mossy
caverns of honey nectar,
or caress the full love
mattress of her stomach,
suckle the sweet fleshy
ripe melon breasts
Sizable goddess, her cannon
laughter bowls you over
beware the seduction
of her vast red lips
she may just eat
you alive.
